Three Hour Cruise between Maidstone Town Archbishops Palace & Teston Lock Inc. Lunch/Supper - (3 Hour return trip)

Subject to an initial group booking of 20+ we run daytime and evening cruises, catering for coach parties, societies, small groups and individuals, the Kentish Lady has excellent facilities including male and female separate washrooms, heating and a fully licensed bar. The catamaran style vessel also provides easy access for a limited number of standard wheelchairs.
The Kentish Lady leaves Maidstone Town Centre and cruises upriver through Farleigh Lock and onwards under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges, turning at Teston Lock for the return journey.
Whilst sailing you can enjoy your lunch/supper of either Fish & Chips or Picnic Box (varies by cruise), during the cruise you can enjoy a complimentary tea, coffee or water as well as a selection of fresh fruit, you will be looked after by attentive crew and we welcome you to move around the boat so as to enjoy our open decked space on the front and rear of the vessel.
With history around every corner and beautiful scenery the trips is a wonderful experience from start to finish and includes an informative commentary, once we are through Farleigh lock the countryside opens up to reveal wildlife of all varieties including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Cormorants, Geese and Ducks, so remember to keep a watchful eye out!
The boat can seat a maximum of 70 people so please be aware that your group will be joined together with other passengers unless you hire the entire vessel, your food is brought on at the beginning of the cruise via our local suppliers and eaten picnic style on you lap.
** Please note, we do not accept children under 16 years old on our Three Hour Cruises. Pets (other than official guide or assistance dogs) are not permitted on board.

Set on a single deck, the Kentish Lady provides excellent access for the disabled. With normal river conditions there is level entry for most wheelchairs (maximum 30 inches wide). Please note, however, that our toilets are ‘walk in’ only.
We are able to accommodate 2 pre-booked wheelchairs per cruise (no seat required aboard), however if you only need help getting to the vessel we are happy to store further wheelchairs in our secure quayside storage facility. Please consider carefully when booking your wheelchair space as this could prevent someone who is wheelchair bound joining the cruise.

A - Maidstone town centre Our main mooring, adjacent to the Archbishops palace and across the road from the high street. Maidstone is perfect for an afternoon shopping trip at The Mall or Fremlin Walk or just meeting friends with its wide selection of bars and restaurants.
B - East Farleigh Lock Here we navigate through the historic locks and the bridge (It's a tight squeeze)
C - Teston Lock This is where we turn around to head back towards our mooring in the centre of Maidstone
