Important Notice - Whilst we have made every effort to move over to Card Payments onboard the 4G/3G signal is very poor in some areas of the river, therefore we strongly recommend that you bring cash to pay for your trip, particularly if you are commencing your journey from Allington Lock.

1 Hour Trips

Running between April & October at weekends and selected school holidays - Check timetable before travelling.

Take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful Upper River Medway, with wildlife and history along the way this 1hr return trip (1 way available) for families and individuals runs between Maidstone and Allington Lock, with commentary and an onboard licensed bar you can take time to relax and enjoy a moment away from the chaos of the roads and the town centre.

Start your journey from either end and you can hop on or hop off at Maidstone (ME15 6XG) or Allington Lock (ME14 3AS) in-between the boats scheduled journeys, in Maidstone's you can enjoy the magnificent Maidstone Museum, take to the shops at the many retail outlets, or meet friends at the many restaurant's and bars , at Allington Lock you can enjoy riverside eating and refreshments at the Malta Inn Beefeater, the Little Old Tea House, or make a full day of it and visit The Kent Life Heritage Farm Park. Whilst waiting to depart at our town centre moorings in Maidstone you can enjoy ice creams and snacks from our riverside refreshments kiosk.

Please note the following important points

• Payments can be made using cash or card if required, please note that 3G/4G signal along the river is erratic and this may effect your ability to pay by card onboard, therefore cash is recommended.
• These trips are run on a first come first served basis, we do not take bookings for 1hr trips.
• You can commence your journey from either Maidstone or Allington Lock - see timetable.
• The boat will be deep cleaned at the start of each day and additionally in between trips when required.
• These trips will start from our mooring at the rear of The Archbishops Palace.
• Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• We can accommodate a certain number of buggies onboard, but in busy times you may be asked to seat your child and fold the buggy.
• Well behaved dogs our welcome onboard.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry.
