The Kentish Lady departs from Maidstone Town Centre and cruises upriver through Farleigh Lock and onwards under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges, turning at Teston Lock for the return journey. (Subject to river and weather conditions)
Whilst sailing you can enjoy a complimentary lunch/supper of Fish & Chips or Picnic Box (light lunch, food varies by cruise), plus a tea, coffee as well as a selection of fresh fruit (lunch cruise only), you will be looked after by attentive crew and we welcome you to move around the boat so as to enjoy our open decked spaces on the front and rear of the vessel.
With history around every corner and beautiful scenery this excursion is a wonderful experience from start to finish and includes an informative commentary, once we are through Farleigh lock the countryside opens up to reveal wildlife of all varieties including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Cormorants, Geese and Ducks, so remember to keep a watchful eye out!
The boat can seat a maximum of 70 people so please be aware that you or your group will be joined together with other passengers unless you hire the entire vessel privately, your food is brought on at the beginning of the cruise and is sourced from a local suppliers, food is to be eaten take away style on your lap. (Cutlery and a selection of condiments are supplied)
Whilst waiting to depart at our town centre moorings you can enjoy ice creams and snacks from our riverside refreshments kiosk.
The catamaran style vessel has a fully licensed bar and onboard toilet facilities, its ground level decks also provide easy access for a limited number of standard wheelchairs.
Please note, we do not accept children under 16 years old on our Three Hour Cruises. Pets (other than official guide or assistance dogs) are also not permitted on board.
Tickets are non-refundable.
** As we are reliant on river, weather conditions and access to certain parts of the river we advise you to check with our office prior to your visit if you have concerns over your trips and or route, please note that the route can be altered during your trip without prior notice and at the skippers discretion**

Our main mooring, adjacent to the Archbishops palace and across the road from the high street. Maidstone is perfect for an afternoon shopping trip at The Mall or Fremlin Walk or just meeting friends with its wide selection of bars and restaurants.
